I had a really hard week this week. Something I really need to make peace with is that no one understands the abuse and defeat of medical school unless they’ve been through it. I smile and appreciate when people try to relate but deep down I know that they have no idea what it’s like, but that’s okay! It makes us tough and makes us warriors and makes us a unique group of people that perservere even when the going is harder than we thought it would be. That’s why you are so tightly bonded with your classmates… you’re all fighting for the same dream. And if you work hard enough, it’s closer than you think. I often try to remind myself how lucky I am to be here, and how long I wished to be in medical school throughout my undergraduate career! Some people don’t ever have the chance to pursue a career in medicine and I’m one of the lucky ones who does! It’s hard to keep a positive attitude all the time but it’s important for you own sanity to be proud of yourself and your accomplishments!
Okay now onto my delicious meatball recipe I have for you! This is so easy and so yummy, I hope you enjoy!
Parmesan Turkey Meatballs
- 1lb ground turkey
- 1/3 cup Parmesan cheese

I boiled up some whole grain pasta and topped it with diced tomoates and these meatballs! It was so yummy! Enjoy 🙂
